We make every effort to offer you safe products, fit for their intended purpose, however, many products require you to attach them to your vehicle. It is the owner's responsibility to inspect their merchandise for fitness of use, reporting any defects to LakelandGear prior to use.

The proper attachment and assembly of any product that is purchased from Lakeland Gear Inc. to a vehicle is a critical step prior to use, and is beyond the control of Lakeland Gear, Inc., it's owners, agents, and dealers. Lakeland Gear Inc. and it's owners, agents, and dealers are NOT responsible or liable for any damage resulting from a product's incorrect assembly or attachment to a vehicle, improper use, or the incorrect placement of items inside or outside the product. You assume all risk and liability for, and shall indemnify, and hold harmless Lakeland Gear, Inc., its agents, employees, officers, shareholders, operators, directors, successors, and assigns from and against, any and all liabilities, obligations, losses, damages, injuries to or deaths of persons , property damage), claims, demands, penalties, actions, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, of whatsoever kind and nature, arising out of the use, condition (including, but not limited to, defects discovered by you or those which could have reasonably been discovered by You, and not reported to Lakeland Gear, Inc), installation, assembly, attachment to vehicles or otherwise, operation, storage or possession or otherwise arising, regardless of where, how, and by whom (and whether or not it be claimed or found that such damage claim or injury resulted in whole or in part from Your negligence, from the defective condition of the Property, or from any other cause whatsoever, or any failure on Your part to perform or comply with any product safety, warning or other information provided to you with the product.

The liability of Lakeland Gear, Inc. is limited to the purchase price of any product sold by Lakeland Gear, Inc., if it proves to be defective in material and/or workmanship. All warranty returns are processed per the warranty offered by the individual product's manufacturer.

Returns

Items must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. Please contact us right away to begin the return process and to receive a return authorization number. The fastest way to initiate your return request is to click on return requests on the left side of this page. In completing the associated form, please provide a detailed reason for your return in the comments/additional information box.

All products must be returned in their original containers and in brand new condition. You may be charged rental rates if the product was used for a trip, then returned. We must follow the return policies of each of our manufacturers; each are a little bit different. Some returned items may be subject to a restocking fee.

Returns must include your receipt or packing slip inside and must have the return authorization number written on the shipping label. Returns outside of this agreement (including those sent back without an RA number) will be refused, returned, or charged a restocking fee up to 25% of the value of the order. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If you are not satisfied with your product you may send it back within 30 days of receipt and we will gladly exchange or refund the cost of the item. If you received free shipping on a truck tent, shipping and handling cannot be reimbursed, so please be aware that our actual shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. We suggest that you track your return shipment.
