Product Safety
We make every effort to offer you safe products, fit for their intended purpose. However many products require you to attach them to your vehicle. It is the owner's responsibility to inspect their merchandise for fitness of use. Report any defects to the manufacturer prior to use.
The attachment of any products purchased from Lakeland is critical and beyond the control of Lakeland Enterprises LLC, owners, agents, and dealers. Lakeland Enterprises LLC, owners, agents, and dealers are NOT responsible for the attachment, the installation, or items put inside or attached to our products. It neither guarantees nor will it be liable for any damage resulting from its attachment or improper use. The liability of this product is limited to its purchase price if it proves to be defective in material and/or workmanship.
All warranties are managed by that product's manufacturer.
Shipping
Lakeland Enterprises LLC ships your packages fast, accurately, and at a fair price. This is one of our distinct advantages. Once you place an order, you are committed to pay any and all shipping charges, and return shipping charges should you decide to return, refuse or miss delivery. If you cancell an order or change your mind, after notified, we will make an attempt to stop any shippments from our warehouse or others. If product you order has been shipped or can not be stopped, you are committed to paying those charges and any restocking fees.
Some products are shipped from other warehouses in different time zones across
the US.
To calculate your shipping costs: 1. Put items into shopping cart. 2. Enter your address and select preferred shipping method. 3. Click the 'continue' button and you will see the total.
NOTE: On special, discounted, free shipping or other offers, out bound shipping or other costs will be deducted from the amount credited on any returned items.
Delivery: Your order of in-stock merchandise will be processed and shipped within 24 hours of receipt. If your order is placed after 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, your order may be processed and shipped the next business day. We do not process orders or ship on Saturdays or Sundays. You will receive an email
when your order has shipped. Enter a physical address, we can not deliver to Post Office (PO) Box address.
Shipping Options: We ship via UPS, FedEx & USPO. Ground service will take 1 to 8 business days to reach you, depending on your
location and where the product ships from. The shipping cost depends on the weight,
size and how fast you want it. We offer overnight, 2 day, 3 day express services from our
vendors. Lakeland does not guarantee any shipping service or delivery time.. Some
large items can not be shipped express and may require commercial truck
delivery. We will contact you if charges beyond those shown at check out are necessary.
If you refuse or miss a scheduled delivery by a truck line, you will be liable
for return shipping charges in addition to the outgoing freight charges.
Large items shipped by commercial truck lines: Large Thule rooftop
boxes and similar size items too big for UPS or FedEX will ship via commercial
truck line. In the event of order cancellation or refusal of delivery you
will be responsible for actual shipping costs both to and from the address you
provide and a restocking fee of 25%. The boxes are exactly as represented
here and will be delivered in new condition. Use the "contact
us" button if you have any questions.
International Customers: Lakeland Vacation Gear may ship products outside the Continental United States. Orders placed for international shipment will be credited less a processing fee. These fees are strictly to cover costs for credit card transactions and gateway charges that we incur. Use our contact page and notify us if you have a special request and we may arrange special delivery on certain items.
Orders from Canada, Mexico, APO/FPO, Alaska & Hawaii can be shipped via USPO.
Two day express service may be require to Alaska and Hawaii orders.
Multiple Shipments: Shipments to more than 1 address need to be placed as separate orders, and will be processed as such. Your order may contain items from several manufacturers, shipping will be calculated based on size and number of boxes.
Order Status and Tracking: If you've provided a valid email address when you order you will receive two emails:
- the first confirms your order, the second confirms your shipment. Tracking is done by www.fedex.com or www.usps.com. Check with the shipper on the status of your package. Allow the maximum number of business days you selected for delivery before you call with a claim.
Out of Stock and Back-Ordered Items: While we make every effort to have featured merchandise in stock, occasionally we are out of certain items. If we are out of stock or expecting a back-order on an item that you've ordered, you will receive an email notification with an expected ship date. If the wait for the item is too long for you, feel free to cancel the order.
Our shipping rates include handling charges: If UPS or FedEx makes a change to the address you provide us, they back bill us. You agree to be billed this same amount from us on a secondary charge at a later date without notification. Please make sure you enter the correct address with apartment our unit numbers.
Shipping charges are nonrefundable. We may, at our option, make partial
or full refunds to shipping charges if we make a mistake. Refunds are not possible if the shipper makes a mistake.
Some shippers guarantee deliveries. In reality it is very time consuming to get
credit and sometimes not possible. We may give partial refund if for example FedEX does not meet overnight requirements.
If you cancel an order because it is not delivered on time you are still
responsible for shipping charges and possible a restocking fee on the
merchandise. Lakeland Enterprises can not control or be responsible for
shipping vendors or when you place your order relative to the time you need that
product.
If your package is damaged in shipment, you must file a claim with UPS 800-463-3339, or contact Fed Ex at 800-463-3339.
Lakeland Enterprises LLC reserves the right to change these policies at any time without notice.

Returns
Items must be returned within 15 days of receipt. Returned items may be subject to a restocking fee. All items must be returned in the original containers. Items
must be in new condition, not used on a trip. Some vendors have
different policies we must follow. Vendors including but not limited to Napier Truck Tents and Keystone (rooftop boxes) will charge up to 25% restocking fee should you elect to return their product for any reason. Returns must include receipt or
packing slip including your name, address and Lakeland information, and have the Return Authorization number on shipping label. Shipping charges are not refunded. We
suggest you track your return shipment.
