This rooftop golf bag & cargo box is more about your outdoor gear than taking the family on a week long vacation. It’s smaller, attaches in seconds, and it's tough housing will keep your gear dry and protected. Two Gear Ticks can fit side by side on your vehicle's factory cross bars or aftermarket sports bars.
Versatility is at it's core. The patent pending system can be attached or removed from the car while fully loaded. This means you can load or store your gear inside and then wheel it out to the car when you’re ready to go. Built in wheels and handles make navigating driveways, airports, and other surfaces a breeze. Everything you need is included.
On or off in 10 seconds allows your car roof to be free and clear for that Monday morning commute. This can improve your gas mileage by up to 5%, cut down on noise, and free up the roof of your car.
The Gear Tick's patent pending attachment method will fit all after market racks such as Yakima or Thule and most quality factory racks. We've laid out some guidelines that should let you determine if your rack will work.
Crossbars can be 17" to 38" apart.
Crossbars can be 1.5" high at the lower interior edge (i.e. round bars can be 3" dia. rectangular bars can be 1.5" tall)
Test your crossbars by simply grabbing the crossbar near the tower (piece that attaches the crossbar to the car) and give a hard pull. The car should move with no movement of the tower. Repeat this at all four towers.
Feet will rotate to accommodate curved factory bars.
