The Thule 480 Traverse Roof Mount Feet allow you to add a set of cross bars to any vehicle without a roof rack. The feet sit on a padded bases and have a clamp that connects inside the vehicle's door frame. These feet come with a Thule Fit Kit to mount them to your specific vehicle.

a. The correct feet for your specific vehicle.
Choose feet for square cross bars (steel rolled load bars) or oval cross bars (rapid aero).
b. The correct cross bars for your specific vehicle.

c. The correct fit kit for your specific vehicle. Enter in the drop down menu above.

4. If you have a 2-3 door compact car or a truck or minivan, the fit guide may indicate the need for a Short Roof Adapter (pictured below). These vehicles have short mounting areas and often times dramatically curved rooftops. The adapter is necessary to increase the width of the cross bar spacing to at least 28 inches and to provide a sure mounting method for these challenging roof tops. Once installed, the adapter allows you to safely mount any roof mount gear carriers onto the crossbars. Order the Short Roof Adapter on this page:
