The Swagman Contour "J" Kayak Rack provides your Kayak with soft, yet firm protective padding.  The "J" profile allows for side or rear loading, and lessens movement during transport which is great for fiber glass kayaks.  It has a universal mount that fits round, square and most factory crossbars.  A bracket slips underneath the crossbars and is secured with tightening knobs.  It includes 2 tie-down straps with cam lock buckles, plus bow and stern straps.

Bow/Stern Tie Downs add more security during Kayak transport.  To attach the bow  in front connect the strap inside the hood of the car.  To attach the stern in the rear connect the strap to either a hitch or tow hook.
