The Rightline Gear PackRight Classic Car Top Carrier adjusts in size from 4 to 16 cu ft.  Its patented design closes like a white water rafting bag to keep water out.  The Classic is the ONLY car top cargo bag with sizing that can change along with your load (US Patent 6,257,470). 

For years, the Classic has been the work horse of all the luggage bags. It is constructed of a thick, PVC backed polyester , UV resistant Hydrotuff Material.  The bag end closes with Velcro, rolls up like a bag of potato chips, and buckle locks with a fold and bend closing system-simple as that.  Sewn in loops accommodate a PackRight Security Cable Lock. 

The size of the Classic Carrier fully loaded is equivalent to a medium size car trunk.  The carrier comes with a StrapRight Strap Set (4 straps to hold the carrier to 2 or 4 luggage rack bars), complete instructions, and a stuff sack for storage when not in use.

The Classic Carrier can be used on vehicles with or without roof racks.  For vehicles without roof racks, you have two choices:

1.  Run the included StrapRight Straps over the car carrier, through the open vehicle door, along the inside roof of the vehicle,  through the opposite vehicle door, and attach to the other end of the strap.

2.  Use the accessory item, Car Clip Strap Set, to strap over the car carrier and clip onto a ledge or rain gutter inside the vehicle's door frame.  See the link below for more information.
