Rugged cargo carrier that suspends from your vehicle's luggage rack just like a saddlebag. This car back carrier requires a luggage rack or similar securely mounted roof device. It hangs on the back of your vehicle allowing easy loading & access to your gear.

Made of Hydrotuff material which is vinyl backed polyester, UV & water resistant. The PackRight Cargo Saddlebag is 22" deep, 40" across and 28" high and holds over 14 cu ft (which is about the size of a medium car trunk.) Includes two bottom straps which you attach to your bumper, hitch or similar device to prevent swaying when turning corners. Also included is heavy duty and very long 29' support strap that goes around the back door and carrier for added support. Can also go under the bag and up to a forward luggage rack bar to help distribute the weight load.

This product is recommended for carrying, sleeping bags, duffel bags of cloths etc. It is not suitable for heavy coolers, firewood etc. Maximum weight limit about 100 lbs or the limit of your luggage rack.

Instructions for use are sewn inside the bag. * NOTICE: If you don't have a luggage rack, the Cargo Saddlebag may work with car clips attached to the top of your rear door. Call us for this application and required accessories. It is possible to attach this to a roof rack AND use a car top carrier. Watch the total combined weight and use good judgement. Test and be sure your luggage rack can hold the weight or use extra car clips to support the weight.

The saddlebag worked perfectly on our Chevy Blazer. I also ordered the waterproof liner which turned out to be a very good idea since we drove through two gully washers, one in New Mexico and the other in Arizona. Everything remained dry inside the liner and the saddlebag dried out before we stopped for the night. It was easy to remove the saddlebag and carry it into the hotel room each night and was just as easy to re-attach the next day. What a great idea! The PackRight Cargo Saddlebag worked wonderfully on our Mercury Mountaineer. It was easy to load, accommodating everything our family of six needed for a week's stay. Once we arrived at our hotel, it was easy to detach and unload. We ordered the waterproof liner and our belongings stayed nice and dry through several hours of rain.
