Will the Cargo Box fit my vehicle?
They will fit any vehicle equipped with a 2 inch or 1.25 inch receiver hitch,
commonly found on most SUVs, RVs, trucks, etc. You will know you have a
Class III or IV receiver hitch if it measures 2 inches square on the inside
dimension. Class II receivers have 1.25 inch square inside dimension. Please contact us with additional questions about hitches or to
find a hitch installer.
What is the locking hitch pin, and do
I need it?
The locking hitch pin goes through your receiver and the cargo platform and
locks it to your car. A great safety measure and a wise move to
protect your gear.
Is the Cargo Box waterproof?
Our cargo box is weatherproof, equipped with an automotive grade weather
seal all around the junction of the lid and base. This seal is designed to
keep dust and water out of the box under normal weather conditions. However,
under extreme weather conditions water or moisture may enter the box. We do
not recommend that people transport electronics or other items particularly
sensitive to moisture. Under most circumstances the box and cargo
inside stay dry.

I have a spare tire on the back of
my vehicle, will the Cargo Box model fit on my vehicle?
Most likely yes. There is a special cargo box built for vehicles with rear
mount spare tires and two inch receivers. See

How much does the Cargo Box and
frame weigh?
The weight varies by size, but generally 110 to 150
lbs.
How much can the Cargo Box hold?
It will hold 12.5 to 16 cubic feet and 250 pounds of gear. The
abundant dimensions and wide opening design allow for an assortment of gear
and cargo to be stored inside. 16 cubic feet is about the size of the
average car trunk.
How long does it take to ship the
Cargo Box to my home?
We ship the platform & box only via UPS or FedEx ground. Generally allow 5-8 days for
delivery. Please plan accordingly for upcoming trips or timelines.
These units do not ship express.
How does the swing out platform & cargo box work?
The swingaway frame pivots a full 180 degrees on a pivot point situated on
the passenger (right) side of the vehicle. The frame uses a convenient
"slam fit" spring loaded closure device located on the backside of
the cargo box. When in the fully open position the user will have clear
access to the vehicle's rear doors and compartment.

II (1 hitch)?
