Simple, plug-in adapters convert the StowAway2 4 flat wiring harness to work with a 4 round wire harness, a 6 round wire harness, or a 7 round wire harness.
StowAway2 Hitch Mount Cargo Carriers with LED tail lights come standard with a 4 flat plug. This plug size is most common to all trailers. If the wiring on your vehicle is different, you will probably need one of these wiring harness adapters.

Don't forget to make sure that you have a locking hitch pin. Locking Hitch Pins secure your gear to your carrier or rack to your vehicle. A lock on the carrier itself provides partial security but without the locking hitch pin, the carrier could still be removed from the hitch.
