The luggage carrier features the innovative ZipRight zipper system, a urethane coated zipper located on the protective flap to keep rain out.  Please see the diagram that shows this feature in the additional photos above.

The Sport 1 Car Luggage Carrier is aerodynamically designed to cut the wind (14" high in front and 18" high in back) which saves $$$ at the gas pump.  The luggage carrier is constructed of a thick, PVC backed polyester , UV resistant Hydrotuff Material.  The ZipRight zipper unzips 3/4 of the way around the car carrier to provide an easy loading opening.

The Sport 1 Car Top Carrier can be used on vehicles with or without roof racks. 

For Vehicles Without Roof Racks, You Have Two Choices:

1.  Run the included StrapRight Straps over the car carrier, through the open vehicle door, across the inside roof and around to the other side. See the Sport Car Top Carrier Set Up Guide to learn more.

"We ordered a Sport carrier after consulting with your representative the week before Christmas. We were leaving the day after Christmas and needed the carrier before that date. It arrived December 22nd as scheduled. The gentleman with whom I spoke was very helpful answering our questions! The carrier proved to be as durable and serviceable as I suspected when unpacking it. It was fairly easy to load, even on the first attempt, and fairly easy to secure. We left after dark in light rain. At our first gas stop, we did re-knot the end of one of the four straps that was flapping on the roof. Aside from this tiny glitch which was our own creation, the carrier performed flawlessly."
