RENTAL FEE:

 PackRight Car Top Carriers rental fees are as follows:

• Car Cargo Carrier and mounting straps: $5.95 per day - 5 day minimum charge
• We offer free Ground Shipping to you
  
• You will be charged full price for the products as a deposit and then credited back the difference upon the return

Rental Price Example:  Sport Jr. for 5 days

Up front you pay $79.95 (deposit)

$5.95 x 5 = $29.75 (your cost)

$79.95 - $29.75 = $50.20 (your returned credit)

(totals do not include return shipping cost)

• You're only charged for the number of days the car top luggage carrier is in your possession. We do not charge for the days that the bag is in transit to you or back to us from you.
• Non-skid Protection Pads, Waterproof Liners, StrapRight Strap Sets, and Car Clip Strap Sets: $1 each per day.
• You may choose to keep the products at the end of your rental period

Be sure to calculate your rental rate vs. the purchase price before you send the carrier back.  If your rental rate is close to OR above the deposit, it may be more cost effective to simply keep the Cargo Carrier.  There will be no credit due if your rental fee is above the deposit price.  If you choose to keep the bag, there will be no additional charges.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 

You will be shipped a new or previously rented car top carrier in good condition.  Lakeland Gear Inc. is not liable for your use of  the car top carrier.  You are responsible to read the directions and refer to our web site for further information.  UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday.  Warranty on purchased rental bags is limited to 90 days, repair only.  All car carriers and accessories must be returned clean, folded, and completely dry.  A fee will be charged for any missing items.  If the carrier has been ripped, misused, or damaged, no credit may be issued. 

RETURN PROCEDURE:

Send the bag back to the address we provide on the rental instruction sheet in your package.  Please track the return package.  Ship any method you prefer: UPS, FEDEX, or US Post Office.
